Where were they on the road trip?
Washington DC and Philadelphia
What were the careers introduced?
The careers that where introduce were Human rights attorney Britten Heller, Motorsports mechanic and owner Sal Donato, a Memphis Street Academy Charter School CEO Christine Borelli, and the CEO American Paradigm Schools Stacey Cruise.
What advice did they have to give?
Britten Heller “You start off with conviction, something that grabs you. You’re not sure what the picture is going to look like in the beginning phases, but as you proceed, you gain speed and suddenly you see the picture start to form.”
Sal Donato: “They said it can’t be done. I mean, don’t tell me that. Because to prove someone wrong--that it can be done--that drives me.”
Christine Borelli “If you find passion in it, follow it, fight for it, run after it--and in the end it will work out, because you’re never going to get bored of it, you’re never going to think of it as work.”
Stacey Cruise “A piece of your life’s work has to be to help other people. In every profession, you can find that--a way that you’re doing something to make someone else’s life better--because, in the long run, that’s what it’s all about anyway.”
Do any of these careers interest you?d what did you dislike or liked about the video?
I'm not interested to their careers especially but I like how they describe their journey. Of how either you can pick a direction were everything is already their for you or go to the path one discovers things along the way. Also how at hoe they use to call "Jonas Jail" middle school saw that the school wasn't going to improve with more security and restriction but instead opposite, they actually saw that they needed to change not the students.
